It's time to reclaim your family or at least family time at home. No matter whether there are just two of you in the house or if you have a house bursting with kids, there should always be family time.
Game Nights
One way many families have decided to enjoy family time is with game nights. They pull out a game and lay it out on the table and get to playing. The problem though comes with these games Disappearing or at least losing pieces over time. It seems that the more times you pull them down from a shelf, shuffle them across the house and put them all away and back on the shelf game again, some of the pieces take off on their own. They never reappear, are just gone and no longer can you play the game.
Over time, this lack of pieces becomes an annoyance and may even keep you from pulling out a game, because you know pieces will most likely be missing.
But, what if you did not have to worry about taking pieces off and running for it every time you Pulled out the games and put them back? If you have a complete game tables you will always have the right pieces at the table and not have to worry about any of them getting away.
Traditional Ones
You have most likely seen gaming tables that have Checkers, chess and backgammon even built into the table. Most of these have a top that can fold to become whatever board game you need them to be. Inside a Drawer or on a small shelf below the top of the table will be all the pieces you need to play the game.
Less Traditional Ones
In addition to the games you expect to find in game tables, there is a whole new run of tables for the family that wants more than the traditional chess, Checkers and backgammon gaming experience. Some of the newer gaming tables include Monopoly and scrabble. Once again, all the pieces for the games are kept in drawers or shelves so they are always there when you need them, and you do not even have to get up to find them.
Casino Tables
Another type of game tables you may want to have in your home are casino gaming tables. These are especially popular if you are an adult who has a lot of grown-up friends who like a little friendly competition. From Blackjack to roulette and poker, there are any number of casino gaming tables that you can make a permanent part of your home décor so you're always ready for a game. Many even have glass tops with the playing area underneath so you can use them as a traditional coffee tables or end tables when games are not in session.
Video Gaming Tables
The final type of gaming tables is very contemporary - video games. With playing screens built right into the table these often have a number of the games of days past ready to go inside the tabletop. From Mrs. Pac Man to Qbert, you can play all those games from your youth.
