When it comes to inspecting the levels of competition, there are two main styles played in tournaments, Go-As-You-Please (also called Freestyle or Unrestricted) and 3-move restriction. Go-As-You-Please style, you can perform movements of opening you want. In 3-Move, the first three movements, red-white-red, are chosen at random from a list of accepted move three openings. The list does not have openings that are known losses.
3-move is more popular in serious tournaments and matches, and that decreases the number of draws. After playing a game with one of the 3-Move the openings, to play a second game with the same opening, but from across the board to balance the disadvantage of having to play a weak opening.
Under international sanctions, there are parties at the Freestyle World Championships, and both 3-move style. 3-The World Championship is to move the most. In addition, a number of tournaments in the National Championship, District tournaments, state tournaments, local tournaments and mail, stairs, International Team Matches (with both on board and email) and other related events with the inspector.
